Dr. Sonal Desai was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her undergraduate degree from Emory University. She then attended Meharry Dental School for her Doctorate training. After completing her education, she moved to Houston to gain further experience as a general dentist while her husband completed his residency training at Baylor College of Medicine.
When her husband accepted a position at the local hospitals in the Mid-Cities as an infectious disease doctor, Dr. Desai was excited to move to North Richland Hills and get to know and serve those in the community.
Dr. Desai is passionate about dentistry and is committed to ongoing growth and education. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. She regularly participates in continuing education courses so that her patients can benefit from the latest developments in dentistry. She particularly enjoys courses that allow her to learn more about sedation dentistry, Invisalign® clear aligner therapy, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Desai and her husband have two daughters and a therapy dog named Oscar, who you may see around the practice. When she’s not in the office taking great care of her patients, Dr. Desai enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and shopping.
